Headcanons.

› Taking the Champion title for his own, Touya has been holding onto this position for years. At first the workload slowed him down, but after getting advice from previous Champions, he manages to find a balance.

› He doesn't have Reshiram nor Zekrom; he's not in search of any truth or working to make an ideal world. Often is he compared to Kyurem; the third of the Tao Trio who is moldable by the truths and ideals around him. He thinks it's fitting, considering Touko's idealistic views and N's truth seeking. Part of him wonders if he should be the hero to partner with Kyurem. . . .

› While he does travel for work sometimes, he's primarily found in Unova; Nuvema specifically. He stays at home to help his mother with the bills, not to mention his work prevents from him being home a lot so renting wouldn't make sense.

› He helps new trainers learn the ropes when possible. He wishes to give back to his roots by inspiring the next generations to become Champion.

› His personality from when he was younger has basically stayed put. When he sets his mind on a goal, there's very little that can stop him. He even calls Touko up now and again for some help when people misunderstand situations.

› When asked, he'll model for his counterpart and/or lend his team for her to use. He thinks it's nice that she can pursue her passions with the same determination he had with becoming Champion.
